My Boyfriend Is a Swamp Monster by Paige Lavoie drew me in almost immediately. The author has a unique writing style and created a beautiful world that was easy to get lost in. The story is filled with humor, and I laughed every time Marina and Gil were awkwardly faced with a difference in their worlds. Marina and Gil are a couple who are easy to like and relate to. I enjoyed how, despite their flaws, Marina and Gil worked together to learn to accept and appreciate each other. My favorite character was Clawrence, and her reunion with Marina was one of the many special moments in this story. The author created such a deep sense of yearning and a desire to find your place in the world that pulled on my heartstrings. This book is perfect for romance lovers who want to laugh, cry, and feel understood.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐- Readers Favorite
